When you create a sequence and add prospects, you can choose the mailbox to use to engage prospects. By default, it will be the mailbox linked to your profile. However, there may be instances where you may want to change the mailbox for a sequence.
Here's how you can update the mailbox for a sequence:
- Open the sequence for which you want to update the mailbox
- Go to the Settings tab
- Select the mailbox from the list
- Click on Save to update the mailbox
Note: Updating a mailbox for an active sequence with prospects will apply to upcoming tasks only.
For example, you have emailed 100 out of 1000 prospects in a sequence. And there is an email follow-up step. For the 100 prospects, the mailbox will not be updated. And the follow-up emails will be sent through the existing mailbox.
However, the updated mailbox will apply to the upcoming tasks for the remaining 900 prospects.
